                 Laura Callaghan
Laura Callaghan Is a Irish artist whose work is based on South East London. She does her drawing with her hands by mixing watercolour, indian ink and isograph pen. Her drawings show the difficulty of being a woman in this society. She said that girls are being told that they could be whatever they want, that they are all beautiful but yet they are being held to such high standards. Callaghan says that the world says hey you could be an entrepreneur but yet they can’t afford “Pret a manger for lunch.” Callaghan wants to show through her paintings how girls don't feel comfortable in their own skin.
