I am going to research a lot more about the artist Sonia Delaunay. I am very interested in fashion, I always have been. I like to style outfits and take inspiration from many different places when styling outfits of my own. So what I am planning to do make my own sort of collection of clothing inspired by these artists. I want to make outfits that resemble what they're paintings looked like (colorful, of patterns, shapes, not colorful, etc). I will record and make a video of some of my friends modeling and walking in my outfits inspired by the three artists Sonia Delaunay, Argentinian painter Patricia Iglesias and South African painter Tony Gum. I won’t be sewing any pieces of clothing I want to show how although Sonia was the pioneer of including making her artwork her actually clothing designs, it inspired this modern artists in what they wear and how they show their personal style through their paintings. I am going to do a voiceover for the video while “the models” are walking in the clothing. I will find pieces that resemble what these artists’ styles are and recreate the look a little bit. I will not be sewing pieces of clothing but rather buying or using clothing I already have that resemble the artist's’ style.  I'm either going to find an open space in a building or studio even where the models can walk and I can film the ‘runway show’. I also want to have parts of the video where each model is standing in front of the piece of artwork by each artist (not the actual painting but I will find an image of it online and blow it up and print it out). I will have three models because I am recreating looks of three artists. The first model will be wearing clothing that is inspired by Sonia Delaunay’s art. The second model will be inspired by Patricia Iglesias and the third model will be inspired by Tony Gum. I also want to add in bloopers at the end of the video for fun.
