Final proposal

My project is going to be about beauty issue an how women and men are affected by social media. I plan to show this through drawings/photography . My drawings/photos would express how people always compare themselves to other people and feel less than others.  They have low self-esteem because they are constantly looking at others and seeing that they are not what society calls perfect. I plan to reach the audience through the drawings/photography.  I will research other artist and make an instragram about these artists along with my drawings/ fotos. For example, Cindy Sherman, Orlan,  Leah schrage, and Phoebe Schmidt. These artist have shown the issues that one feels ugly in thus society the we live in.  This is important to me because I lived it. I know what it feels like to feel bad in society and I know many could relate. I'm choosing to make this cause it's an issue that's still around today and for as long as  we could  remember. I want people to stop comparing themselves to others and feel good in their own skin.
